Next Production...

Our most recent production "The Witches of Eastwick" which was performed last May 2007 in His Majesty's Theatre was very successful and enjoyed by all.  As with everything, things must go on and we 'The Lyric Musical Socitey' look forward to revealing our next production ...

[Mack & Mabel]

The Lyric Musical Society is proud to bring this fantastic show to the Aberdeen Arts Centre. Beautifully written by Michael Stewart, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, this rags to riches story tells the tale of sandwich delivery girl, Mabel Normand and her turbulent relationship with Mack Sennet, the Director of silent movies who made her a star. Based on a true story, this production features dazzling dance numbers in abundance and a musical score second to none, including hits such as “Look What Happened to Mabel”, “I Wanna Make the World Laugh”, “Tap Your Troubles Away” and of course the unforgettable “I Won’t Send Roses”. Following the success of Witches of Eastwick, Mack and Mabel is the perfect vehicle for this energetic company. See it at Aberdeen Arts Centre from Tuesday 19 - Saturday 23 May 2009.

Tickets: £12.50 (£11.50 conc).
